OH MY STARS is a modern children's portraiture studio based in Kansas City. Megan, the owner and photographer, released this new brand in 2017, though she has been photographing children for many years. Megan told me that children's big imaginations have always inspired her, and she wanted to create a studio in which those imaginations are celebrated! She creates heirloom quality products for her clients, and envisioned her images living on the walls of her clients' homes for generations. The experience with Oh My Stars is very personalized, from custom set design to in home wall art design consultations. We worked together to help potential clients get the feel for who they would be working with, and the process.

HELLO LOVELY is a hair and make-up company who specializes in wedding and special event updos, styles, and make-up application. They have a salon location coming soon (!!), but will always come to you for your application which sets them apart from their competition. Ashley, the owner and lead HMUA, has become a leader and expert in her industry in the Kansas City area. She approached me because her company had grown and had some new faces since the last time she'd gotten headshots. We worked together to decide exactly what she needed; headshots of her entire team, group shots of the team, and a few behind the scenes shots. We also plan on working together as she continues to grow with her new salon location!

FIREBRAND COLLECTIVE is a studio space located in the West Bottoms, that is available for rent for all types of photography, consultations, and even small events. The founders, Kinzie and Megan, believe strongly in community over competition and in using their space to allow other female creatives the space (literally and figuratively) to follow their dreams. A FIREBRAND, is a person who is passionate about a particular cause. Everyone involved loves collaboration, community, and donuts. The images I created for them needed to communicate all of these things, as well as show off how much fun it can be to be a FIREBRAND.

SOMETHING WHITE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE
SOMETHING WHITE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE is a wedding gown boutique located in the heart of Kansas City. After being open for a few years, the shop and team had changed quite a bit and the owner approached me about some headshots. After we daydreamed together about the media that SWBB could use to promote themselves we decided we could do so much more. Two full days of shooting included headshots and group shots of the team in both a more classic outfit and a fun branded outfit, as well as the taking of video to create a longer promo and short social media videos. We even included some confetti and champagne, because finding the right wedding gown is cause for celebration. We also took some behind the scenes images of her team working in the shop and photos of the shop itself to help potential brides know what to expect during their appointment.

SARA MARIE PHOTOGRAPHY is a wedding photography studio owned by Sara Foote and based in Kansas City. She decided it was time to update her brand and website, and wanted a consistent photography that would speak to her potential clients and communicate who she is. We did some headshots, and a few behind-the-scenes images in her home office with one of her brides (and her adorable dogs)!
